Orlando-based Florida Hospital tapped Robin McGuinness, DNP, MSN, to serve as chief clinical officer of the Florida Hospital West Florida Region, effective Dec. 12, 2016.
Florida Hospital includes 22 campuses and the Florida Hospital West Florida Region includes nine hospitals.
Here are three things to know:
1. Ms. McGuinness currently serves as vice president of patient care services and CNO of Florida Hospital Carrollwood in Tampa. She will continue in these roles after she assumes her as chief clinical officer position.
2. She has previously served as CNO of Venice (Fla.) Regional Medical Center.
3. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
