Florida Hospital selected Doug Harcombe as CEO of Florida Hospital Celebration Health. He previously served as CEO of Florida Hospital Altamonte in Altamonte Springs and also oversaw Winter Park (Fla.) Memorial Hospital and Florida Hospital East Orlando.
Tim Cook, currently CEO of Florida Hospital Apopka and Florida Hospital Winter Garden, will take over as CEO of Florida Hospital Altamonte.
Florida Hospital also appointed Alric Simmonds, MD, CMO of Florida Hospital East Orlando, effective March 4. Dr. Simmonds serves as medical director of the Sherman Outpatient Surgery Center in Orlando and chairman of the Florida Hospital System Operating Room Governance. He has worked at Florida Hospital providing general surgery services since 2006.
The organization also tapped Dennis deLeon, MD, to serve as CMO of Florida Hospital Kissimmee, effective March 4. A family physician, he most recently served as associate CMO of three hospitals within Tacoma, Wash.-based CHI Franciscan Health’s Seattle/King County region.
