FirstHealth of the Carolinas appoints new CEO: 4 notes

Pinehurst, N.C.-based FirstHealth of the Carolinas has selected Mickey W. Foster as its new CEO, effective July 8, according to local news website The Pilot.

Four notes:

1. Mr. Foster currently serves as president of Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital and senior vice president for Cone Health, both based in Greensboro, N.C.

2. He was previously president of Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, N.C.

3. He holds a master of health services administration degree from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant.

4. Mr. Foster succeeds David Kilarski, who is retiring in July.
