Here are four things to know about Mr. Muller.
1. He began his new role July 18.
2. Prior to joining Elliot Health System, he was CEO of Marquette (Mich.) General Hospital, in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, from 2007 to 2014.
3. During his tenure in Marquette, Mr. Muller led the sale of Marquette to Duke Lifepoint in Brentwood, Tenn., from the strategic planning stages in 2011 until the final close more than two years later, according to Elliot Health System.
4. Since his time at Marquette, Mr. Muller has worked as an independent consultant to healthcare organizations, focusing on quality improvement and staff and physician development.
