El Paso Children’s Hospital names interim CEO

El Paso (Texas) Children’s Hospital has appointed George P. Caralis as interim CEO, according to KVIA.com.

Mr. Caralis serves as a consultant with Deloitte Corporate Restructuring Group and Pitts Management Associates. He has also held multiple executive positions with health systems in Detroit.

Mr. Caralis will replace Mark Herbers, El Paso Children’s Hospital’s previous interim CEO who helped the hospital through its bankruptcy case. KVIA.com did not state when the transition will occur.
