Erie County Medical Center Corporation in Buffalo, N.Y., named two new vice presidents, according to a July 23 news release shared with Becker’s.
Heather Gallagher was promoted to vice president of human resources and will also serve as interim chief human resources officer, according to the release. Ms. Gallagher joined ECMC in 2015 and most recently served as senior director of compensation, benefits and HR information systems. In her expanded role, she will lead talent strategy, compensation, benefits, payroll, HR technology, employee and labor relations and organizational development.
Wade Starnes was named vice president of construction management, according to the release. Mr. Starnes previously served as senior construction project manager at architecture and engineering firm CPL and held a senior construction manager role at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo. He will oversee all capital construction projects at ECMC.
ECMC is a 573-bed academic medical center and Western New York’s only Level 1 adult trauma center, serving as a major teaching facility for the University at Buffalo.
