Eastern Plumas Health Care CEO Todd Plimpton takes monthlong leave of absence

Todd Plimpton, CEO of Portola, Calif.-based Eastern Plumas Health Care, is taking a 30-day leave of absence, according to a Plumas News report.

Mr. Plimpton has served as CEO of Eastern Plumas Health Care since Jan. 3. His leave was announced at the organization’s most recently board meeting Oct. 1.

“As always, [human resources] does not share the reason for an individual’s leave. We expect Todd back at the end of the month,” said Jayne O’Flanagan, Eastern Plumas’ HR director, in a statement issued Oct. 2, obtained by Plumas News.

Ms. O’Flanagan will serve as active CEO.

Eastern Plumas Health Care is a nonprofit, critical access hospital district, which includes a nine-bed acute care hospital, four primary care medical clinics and two dental clinics.
