East Orange (N.J.) General Hospital selected Paige Dworak to serve as permanent CEO.

Here are five things to know:

1. Most recently, Ms. Dworak served as interim CEO and COO of the hospital.

2. Prior to that, she was vice president of operations improvement for both Waterbury (Conn.) Hospital and Manchester-based Eastern Connecticut Health Network.

3. A fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, she is currently president of the New York chapter of ACHE.

4. She holds an MBA from Montclair (N.J.) State University.   

5. East Orange General Hospital is a for-profit, acute care facility with 221 beds.
