1. Dr. Gellasch will assume the new role Oct. 1.
2. She previously served as associate chief of obstetrics and gynecology as well as lead physician for The Women’s Center at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital in Newark, N.Y.
3. She also served as medical director for The Women’s Health Practice at the University of Rochester (N.Y.).
4. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
5. She succeeds Michael Merrill, MD, who resigned.
