Dr. R. Jason Thurman named CMO of 2 TriStar hospitals

R. Jason Thurman, MD, was recently named CMO of two TriStar hospitals: Hendersonville (Tenn.) Medical Center and Nashville, Tenn.-based Skyline Medical Center, according to a report from The Tennessean.

Dr. Thurman will be the first CMO for both hospitals. He was previously with Nashville-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he held a variety of roles.

Dr. Thurman earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and is an emergency medicine physician.
