Dr. Patrick Rankin is Banner Medical Group’s new CEO: 4 points

Phoenix-based Banner Health selected Patrick Rankin, MD, to serve as CEO of Banner Medical Group.

1. Dr. Rankin formerly served as physician executive for Arizona West at Banner Medical Group.

2. His prior experience includes serving as chief physician executive of Kalispell (Mont.) Regional Healthcare and CMO of Indianapolis-based Community Physician Network.

3. Dr. Rankin is a family physician.

4. He replaces Mystie Johnson-Foote, MD, who retired.
