The hospitals are part of Richmond-based HCA Virginia.
Four points:
1. Dr. Brengman, appointed to the newly created role in June, works collaboratively with Tony Spensieri, MD, CMO of all three hospitals.
2. Dr. Brengman previously served as bariatric medical director at Advanced Surgical Partners of Virginia, in Richmond, and Parham Doctors’ Hospital.
3. He served in U.S. Army, retiring in 2004 with the rank of major.
4. In addition to his medical training, he holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
