James Thaw Chosen as President, CEO of Athens Regional Health in Georgia

The board members of Athens (Ga.) Regional Health Services have chosen James Thaw to lead as president and CEO of the health system, according to an Athens Banner-Herald news report.

Mr. Thaw, who succeeds former CEO Jack Drew, previously served as president and CEO of Broward General Medical Center and Chris Evert Children’s Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mr. Thaw will begin his duties at Athens Regional on July 18.
