Dr. Spotts has been serving in the CMIO role part-time since February 2011 while continuing to practice family medicine. Now, he will reduce his clinical hours and increase his CMIO hours, according to the report.
As CMIO, Dr. Spotts will oversee EvangelicalCommunityHospital’s EHR initiative to improve patient safety, clinical quality and population health.
Dr. Spotts is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
