Dr. Park is a cardiothoracic surgeon and has served as the chair of the Department of Surgery and medical director of the Allegheny Health Network Cardiovascular Institute at Jefferson Hospital. Jefferson Hospital is part of Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network.
Dr. Park earned his MD at Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his cardiothoracic surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and his general surgery residency at Brown University.
Dr. Park succeeds Richard Collins Jr., MD, who retired Oct. 31.
