McPherson Hospital in Kansas Names Rob Monical New President

The McPherson (Kan.) Hospital Board of Trustees announced Rob Monical has been named president of the hospital, effective July 11, according to a hospital news release.

Since 2005, Mr. Monical has served as CEO of Baum Harmon Mercy Hospital in Primghar, Iowa. During this time, he recruited two family practice physicians, among other providers, helped improve the hospital’s financial performance and led quality, patient safety and process improvement initiatives. He also led a master site and facility plan which resulted in a recommendation to build a new $15 million facility.

Mr. Monical succeeds Jim Chromik, who is retiring after more than three years at the hospital.
