Doctors Hospital of Sarasota names new CMO

Doctors Hospital of Sarasota (Fla.) has chosen Thomas Trinchetto, MD, as its new CMO, according to a Herald-Tribune report.

Dr. Trinchetto previously served as chief of staff and chief of medicine at the hospital, which is owned by Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America. He has also been medical director of emergency services and chief of medicine at Fisherman’s Hospital in Marathon, Fla.

A board-certified emergency medicine and internal medicine physician, Dr. Trinchetto earned his medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in Brooklyn, according to the report.
