Desert Regional Medical Center appoints CFO

Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, Calif., has named Judith Stimson as its new CFO, according to The Desert Sun.

At Desert Regional, which is operated by Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, Ms. Stimson will provide guidance on financial and business strategies.

Ms. Stimson joins Desert Regional from Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Medical Center, where she served as CFO.

Ms. Stimson is a certified public accountant and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, according to the report.
