DeKalb Medical Hillandale names Kim Bentley administrator

Dacatur, Ga.-based DeKalb Medical has named Kim Bentley, MS, RN, CCRN, vice president and administrator at DeKalb Medical Hillandale (Ga.), effective immediately.

As vice president and administrator of DeKalb Medical Hillandale, Ms. Bentley will focus on leadership development, accountability and a drive to improve performance, quality and patient safety at the Hillandale campus.

Ms. Bentley has served as the executive director of patient care services and assistant administrator for the Hillandale campus since her return to DeKalb Medical in 2011. Her experiences at DeKalb Medical span from the ICU at DeKalb Medical at North Decatur to the administrative office at Hillandale. She also served as a clinical nurse specialist at Gwinnett Medical Center, located in Lawrenceville, Ga., and as CNO at Emory Johns Creek (Ga.) Hospital.

“Kim brings a wealth of experience and talent to this role,” said John Shelton, president and CEO of DeKalb Medical. “For the past sixteen years, she has been vital to the success of DeKalb Medical and we are thrilled for what she will bring to this new role.”
