1. As a consultant leading Mathias Consulting and Research and as a senior leader with another national healthcare consulting firm, Ms. Mathias directed large scale engagements that involved the C-suite, physician leaders, middle management and staff, according to a news release.
2. She also previously was executive vice president and COO of Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Calif., and was COO of Denver Children’s Hospital.
3. Ms. Mathias earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Arizona in Tucson and a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Colorado, Denver.
