Kimberlee Daniels has been promoted to CEO of Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Daniels has served as the hospital’s interim CEO since January, according to a June 30 LinkedIn post from the hospital. In her new role, she will oversee hospital operations and continue efforts to integrate services across the Washington, D.C., region.
Ms. Daniels joined The George Washington University Hospital as COO in late 2023 after serving in healthcare operations and administration leadership roles of increasing responsibility.
She succeeded Tony Coleman, who stepped down as CEO in March less than a year after the hospital opened in April 2025.
The $434 million, 406,000-square-foot facility opened in the District of Columbia’s Ward 8 as part of a public-private partnership between the local government, King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services, and George Washington University.
