David Kilarski. CEO of Sandhills Regional Medical Center (Hamlet, N.C.). Mr. Kilarski joined Sandhills Regional Medical Center, about 90 miles from Charlotte, N.C., as CEO in 2016 and immediately got to work. In October, FirstHealth of the Carolinas, a four-hospital system in Pinehurst, N.C., signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire Sandhills Regional Medical Center.
