Dan Miller to serve as CEO of HCA’s Methodist Hospital: 5 things to know

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare named Dan Miller as CEO of Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children’s Hospital, both located in San Antonio. He will assume his new role Oct. 1.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Miller is currently The Medical Center of Aurora (Colo.) and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital in Aurora.

2. He has served in his current role since 2015.

3. During his tenure, The Medical Center of Aurora expanded the adolescent unit at its Behavioral Health and Wellness Center and added numerous physicians in new specialties.

4. Previously, Mr. Miller served as COO of Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo.

5. He holds a master of science in health administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
