Springfield, Mo.-based CoxHealth announced three executive promotions and one appointment, effective January 2020.
Ron Prenger, currently senior vice president and chief hospital officer, will become the organization's executive vice president and COO. He has been with CoxHealth for 42 years.
Karen Kramer will become senior vice president and chief hospital officer for CoxHealth's Springfield hospital group. Ms. Kramer is currently vice president and system chief nursing officer. She will continue as CNO for an interim period. She has 31 years of experience at CoxHealth.
Amanda Hedgpeth, who is currently vice president of clinical services, will become vice president of hospital operations in the Springfield hospital group. She has worked at CoxHealth for 14 years.
Ashley Kimberling Casad will join CoxHealth as vice president of clinical services for the Springfield hospital group. Ms. Kimberling Casad most recently served as assistant administrator for neurosciences at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She holds an MBA and master's in health administration from University of Missouri in Columbia.
