Cornerstone Medical Center’s appoints Jessica Long CEO

Cornerstone Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., named Jessica Long CEO. She previously served as senior vice president of operations at ApolloMD, a physician-owned national group practice that partners with hospitals to provide multispecialty solutions.

ApolloMD acquired Cornerstone Medical Center, formerly Hutcheson Medical Center, earlier this year. Ms. Long led the medical center’s opening after ApolloMD purchased the center. Ms. Long has been with ApolloMD since 2014. Prior to that, she worked for Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare.

Ms. Long holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Global Public Health in Chapel Hill.
