1. Mr. Hershman recently retired with the rank of colonel from the U.S. Army’s Medical Service Corps.
2. He has previously served in a number of healthcare facility leadership roles, including as deputy director of the primary care service line at the United States Army Medical Command in San Antonio and CEO of McDonald Army Health Center in Fort Eustis, Va.
3. In his new role, he will oversee care delivery at VA Northern Indiana Health Care System’s two campuses in Fort Wayne and in Marion.
