Dr. Langer has been CEO of CRMC for a year and a half and was released over a dispute regarding his employment contract. Mr. Langer amended his contract in February. The board did not thoroughly review the contract at the time it was amended, and several board members disapproved of certain changes made to the contract, including a $125,000 raise for Dr. Langer, according to the report. The board voted 7-2 to end his employment.
