COO moves from one HCA hospital to another

Josh Gill was named COO of Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan., part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, according to a Jan. 21 news release shared with Becker’s.

Mr. Gill joins Overland Park from another HCA facility — Lee’s Summit (Mo.) Medical Center — where he also served as COO. During his time there, he helped lead major capital projects, including the opening of the Surgery Center of Lee’s Summit and a $60 million campus expansion, according to the release.

He previously served as vice president of operations at HCA’s StoneSprings Hospital Center in Dulles, Va., and has held additional leadership roles within HCA.

HCA operates 190 hospitals and about 2,400 ambulatory care sites across 20 states and the United Kingdom, according to its website.
