Conemaugh Health System taps William Caldwell as CEO: 5 things to know

Johnstown, Pa.-based Conemaugh Health System appointed William E. Caldwell market president as well as CEO of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Caldwell most recently served as CEO of Wilson (N.C.) Medical Center.

2. Prior to that, he was COO of LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Va.

3. He holds a master of health administration degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus.

4. Mr. Caldwell is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives

5. He succeeds Steve Tucker, who is retiring.
