Cone Health’s largest hospital names chief nursing officer

Greensboro, N.C.-based Moses Cone Hospital named Tammy Caviness, DNP, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services. She will oversee nursing and patient care operations at the hospital.

Dr. Caviness has more than 25 years of healthcare experience and joined Cone Health in 2009, according to a Sept. 10 news release. She most recently served as associate CNO at Moses Cone Hospital and interim CNO at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, N.C.

Moses Cone Hospital is Cone Health’s flagship and largest hospital. Cone Health has more than 14,000 team members, 2,600 providers, five hospitals and six ambulatory care centers.
