Michelle Adamolekun, executive vice president and chief people and culture officer for Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health, left the organization in early August, a health system spokesperson confirmed to Becker’s.
Ellen Pancoast, vice president of people operations, is serving as interim chief people and culture officer, the spokesperson told Becker’s Sept. 17. The system is conducting an internal and external search for Ms. Adamolekun’s successor.
Ms. Adamolekun joined Cone Health in 2021 after serving as chief human resources officer of Wilmington, N.C.-based Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center since 2019.
During her tenure at Cone Health, she improved employee recruitment and retention, developed partnerships with local colleges and high schools to create talent pipelines and strengthened leadership development.
