Joe Theine was named president of CommonSpirit Mercy Hospital, effective Dec. 7.
The move brings Mr. Theine back to the Durango, Colo.-based hospital, where he oversaw physician operations earlier in his career, according to an Oct. 21 news release. He has also served as CEO of Animas Surgical Hospital in Durango and executive director of San Juan Basin Public Health.
Mercy Hospital is part of Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health.
