Henry Hawthorne, CEO of Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, N.C., is resigning from his position to "pursue other opportunities," according to a WECT report.
Duane Erwin has been named interim CEO. Mr. Erwin most recently served as CEO of Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus.
