Columbus Community Hospital hires Dorothy Bybee as CNO: 4 takeaways

Columbus (Neb.) Community Hospital named Dorothy Bybee, BSN, vice president of patient care services and CNO, effective April 17, 2017, according to a Columbus Telegram report.

1. Ms. Bybee most recently served as assistant CNO at Wichita, Kan.-based Via Christi Health System.

2. She also previously worked at Memorial Health System in Colorado Springs, Colo., and Salina (Kan.) Regional Health Center .

3. In her new role, Ms. Bybee will oversee 250 employees, of which 180 are registered nurses.

4. She succeeds Linda Walline, who will retire in May 2017.
