Columbia Memorial Health names Dr. Clifford Belden CMO

Hudson, N.Y.-based Columbia Memorial Health tapped Clifford Belden, MD, to serve as CMO.

Dr. Belden, who specializes in neuroradiology, has held several healthcare leadership roles, including chief clinical officer at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., and chair of radiology at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.

Dr. Belden has also served as associate professor of radiology and neurology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H. He is a former lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Dr. Belden succeeds Lawrence Perl, MD, who is stepping down from the role in preparation for retirement. Dr. Perl will work part-time as medical director of case management at Columbia Memorial Health.
