Coliseum Medical Centers drops ‘interim’ from CEO Stephen Daugherty’s title: 5 notes

Coliseum Medical Centers in Macon, Ga., has named Stephen Daugherty its permanent CEO, according to The Telegraph.

Here are five notes:

1. Mr. Daugherty has served in the CEO role on an interim basis since January.

2. Most recently, he was CEO of Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon.

3. He has worked with Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America for 18 years. HCA is Coliseum’s parent.

4. His previous roles at HCA include serving as an acquisition specialist for the West Florida Division and CEO at South Bay Hospital in Sun City Center, Fla.

5. Mr. Daugherty holds an MBA degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.
