Cleveland Clinic names submarket president

Teri Lash-Ritter, MD, has been named president of Cleveland Clinic’s south submarket in northeast Ohio, effective Feb. 1.

Dr. Lash-Ritter will also serve as president of Akron (Ohio) General and Lodi (Ohio) Hospital, according to a Jan. 21 health system news release. She will oversee strategic care coordination across the submarket, which includes five hospitals, three health and wellness centers and multiple outpatient facilities.

Dr. Lash-Ritter joined Cleveland Clinic in 2011 and has served as chief medical officer for Akron General and Lodi hospitals since 2019. She succeeds Brian Harte, MD, who was recently named president of Cleveland Clinic’s east submarket.
