Cleveland Clinic names Dr. Adrienne Boissy CXO

Adrienne Boissy, MD, will assume her role as Cleveland Clinic’s chief experience officer early next year, according to a Crain’s Cleveland Business report.

Dr. Boissy is now the CXO of Cleveland Clinic’s neurological institute and medical director of the system’s Center of Excellence in Healthcare Communication. Dr. Boissy is also editor-in-chief of the Journal of Patient Experience.

She will assume her role as CXO of the system on Jan. 1, 2015, succeeding James Merlino, MD, who is leaving Cleveland Clinic to become president and CMO of Press Ganey Associates’ strategic consulting division.
