Regional Provider Network appoints Dr. Michael Hein CEO

Lincoln, Neb.-based Regional Provider Network has announced Michael Hein, MD, will serve as the network’s CEO beginning Dec. 1, according to a recent report.

Dr. Hein has 20 years of clinical and leadership experience in large integrated healthcare systems, rural primary care practices and inpatient and ambulatory care settings, as well as academic medicine and clinical research.

Most recently, he served as CMO and vice president of medical affairs at CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island, Neb. Before joining CHI Health St. Francis, Dr. Hein served in numerous leadership roles within the Veteran’s Healthcare Administration.

Dr. Hein is a board-certified internal medicine physician. He also holds a master’s degree in exercise physiology from Saint Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minn., and a master’s degree in healthcare management from Harvard University, School of Public Health in Boston.
