Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital names new COO: 3 things to know

Mark Nussbaum has been named COO of Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights, Ohio.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Nussbaum.

1. He joined Marymount in 2013 as vice president and has held several positions of increasing responsibility within Cleveland Clinic’s operations and regional administration divisions since 2004.

2. In his new role, Mr. Nussbaum will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the hospital and for ensuring Marymount’s daily activities are in line with Cleveland Clinic’s strategic objectives, the health system said.

3. Mr. Nussbaum earned a master’s degree in business administration from Cleveland State University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration/healthcare administration, from Bowling Green (Ohio) State University.
