Clark Regional Medical Center taps new CEO: 5 things to know

Winchester, Ky.-based Clark Regional Medical Center appointed Aphreikah DuHaney-West CEO, effective May 20.

Five things to know:

1. Most recently, Ms. DuHaney-West served as CEO of Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City, La.

2. She has prior experience serving as CEO of Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte, La., and Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, La.

3. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

4. Ms. DuHaney-West also has served as the American Organization of Nurse Executives’ delegate to Cuba.

5. She will replace Barbara Kinder, the hospital’s chief clinical officer, who has been serving as interim leader. Ms. Kinder will continue as chief clinical officer.
