CHS promotes Keith Granger to Alabama market CEO: 4 things to know

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems selected Keith Granger regional president and market CEO for its Alabama region, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Granger serves as CEO of Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala. He will continue in this role, in addition to his new post, until the health system identifies a replacement.

2. In his new post, Mr. Granger will oversee CHS’ six affiliated client hospitals in Alabama.

3. He is a board of governors member for the Federation of American Hospitals,

4. He also serves as Alabama’s delegate for the American Hospital Association’s Regional Policy Board.
