Christus Shreveport-Bossier Health System CEO to resign: 5 notes

Isaac Palmer, CEO of Christus Shreveport-Bossier Health System in Shreveport, La., is resigning for new professional opportunities, according to the Shreveport Times.

Five notes:

1. Mr. Palmer is heading to Chicago to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.

2. He became CEO of Christus Shreveport-Bossier in 2015.

3. During his tenure, he led a $43 million expansion of Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport and the opening of the Christus Bossier Emergency Hospital in Bossier City, La.

4. Mr. Palmer joined Irving, Texas-based Christus Health in 2014, prior to which he worked at Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth.

5. He will remain with Christus Shreveport-Bossier until July 1 or until his successor is named.
