Christ Hospital taps ProMedica exec as CEO: 5 things to know

Cincinnati-based The Christ Hospital Health Network named Arturo Polizzi president and CEO, effective Oct. 8.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Polizzi serves as president of Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica’s Metro Region Acute Care.

2. Previously, he was president of ProMedica Toledo Hospital and Toledo Children’s Hospital.

3. In the nearly two decades he worked at ProMedica, he has also served as chief human resources officer and associate legal counsel.

4. Mr. Polizzi holds an MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

5. He succeeds Mike Keating, who is departing for a healthcare private equity firm in New York.
