CHOP names new chief development officer: 4 things to know

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has tapped Monica Taylor Lotty as its new executive vice president and chief development officer.

Here are four things to know about Ms. Taylor Lotty.

1. She will take over her new role this fall.

2. She will join CHOP from the University of Delaware in Newark, where she serves as vice president for development and alumni relations.

3. Prior to joining the University of Delaware, Ms. Taylor Lotty was an executive director of external affairs at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in Philadelphia, where she managed the overall direction and strategy for development initiatives and alumni engagement.

4. Ms. Taylor Lotty earned a law degree from The James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University in Philadelphia and an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
