Children’s Wisconsin taps new CEO

Milwaukee-based Children’s Wisconsin has tapped Gil Peri as president and CEO, effective August 12.

Mr. Peri will succeed Peggy Troy, MSN, RN, who shared plans to retire last October, after a national search was conducted in 2023, according to a June 24 news release shared with Becker’s

Prior to his new role, Mr. Peri served as president of Indianapolis-based Riley Children’s Health, a 485-bed health system part of Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health’s Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

He also served in leadership roles at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
