Dawn Wolff was named the inaugural chief innovation and transformation officer of the Children’s Hospital Association.
In her role, Ms. Wolff will lead the association’s work on enterprise strategy, innovation, pediatric health intelligence and strategic partnerships, according to a Sept. 24 news release.
Ms. Wolff joins the Lenexa, Kan.-based association after 20 years at Children’s Mercy, where she most recently served as vice president of strategy, innovation and partnerships, according to the release. At Children’s Mercy, she established the health system’s Center for Pediatric Innovation and co-created PedsMarket, a marketplace connecting children’s hospitals with innovators, startups and industry partners.
She has served on the CHA’s Chief Strategy Officer Forum since 2018 and completed a four-year term as president of the International Society for Pediatric Innovation, according to the release.
CHA represents more than 200 children’s hospitals nationwide.
