Children's Specialized Hospital names new CEO: 5 things to know

Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, N.J., has named Warren E. Moore president and CEO.

Here are five things to know about Mr. Moore.

1. Mr. Moore, who last year took over the additional role of chief administrative officer of New Brunswick, N.J.-based Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital (BMSCH) at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, will remain in that role.

2. He joined CSH in 1998 and has served as executive vice president and COO for the past nine years. 

3. During his tenure at CSH, the hospital has expanded both the breadth and depth of services offered to encompass 13 locations and more than 28,000 children served in 2015, the hospital said. 

4. Before joining CSH, Mr. Moore was in leadership roles at HealthSouth, a Birmingham, Ala.-based operator of rehabilitation hospitals.

5. In his newest role, Mr. Moore succeeds Amy B. Mansue, who held the position of president and CEO at CSH since 2003.
