Chicago hospital taps chief executive

John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago has named Donnica Austin-Cathey its next chief executive.

Ms. Austin-Cathey has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, according to a news release shared with Becker’s April 5. Most recently, she served as president of Sinai Chicago’s Holy Cross Hospital. 

The 450-bed teaching hospital belongs to Cook County Health, one of the largest public health systems in the nation.
