CHI Memorial Hospital CEO James Hobson to retire

James H. Hobson, CEO of CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn., will retire July 12, according to the Times Free Press.

Mr. Hobson has served as CEO for the past six years. According to hospital officials, CHI Memorial has made a $300 million investment in and transformation of CHI Memorial’s Chattanooga and Hixson campuses.

During the transition period, Ricky D. Napper, senior vice president and COO of CHI Memorial, will pick up Mr. Hobson’s CEO duties, and CMO Kevin L. Lewis, MD, will enter an expanded operational leadership role, according to the report.
